Profit from Potential: Proven Precious Metals and Latent Strategic Minerals in Mine Tailings

Profit-rich Landscape: Over 500,000 Overlooked or Dormant Mines and Mine Tailings

Strategic Minerals: Who Has them?

The US Doesn't.

The U.S. is entirely dependent on imports for 12 essential minerals and is heavily reliant (over 95%) on imports for 13 others, as identified by the USGS.

For more than half of these minerals, China is the primary supplier.

Overall, of the 50 minerals deemed critical by the USGS, the U.S. has no domestic source for 12 and depends on imports for over 50% of its needs for an additional 31 critical minerals.

Critical Strategic Minerals

Critical strategic minerals play a crucial role in producing energy and electronics for Raptor reconnaissance drones, video downlink satellites and nuclear power plants. Also for wind turbines, solar panels, as well as EV  batteries

The US faces challenges in securing a stable supply of these minerals due to geological scarcity, geopolitical issues, and supply chain vulnerabilities. Many critical minerals are not available within the U.S. borders, necessitating reliance on foreign sources—not always friendly.

Graphite and graphene, for instance, are essential for electric vehicles and energy storage systems, with demand for both materials growing quickly. Although the U.S. possesses significant graphite resources, the existing production and processing infrastructure is insufficient to satisfy the rising demand.

• Lower value ore (at the time)
• Not assayed for other ores
• >500,000 tailings nationwide

Dormant Mines Could Be The Answer

The United States harbors over 500,000 abandoned or inactive hard rock mine sites, historically focused on extracting metals like gold and silver, with little attention to rare earth elements (REEs).

These abandoned or dormant properties, often disregarded, may hold overlooked precious metal and REE concentrations. Advances in geochemical analysis and mineral processing now allow for efficient detection and extraction of REEs from such tailings.

Exploiting these surface accessible tailings can provide profits from gold, silver and palladium plus REEs, providing a multimineral profit flow.

USAIG is the go-to source for dormant or overlooked mines with unexplored veins or tailings with precious-metal concentrations and overlooked REEs

The USAIG team was formed about eight years ago after the team discovered significant occurrences of copper, gold and graphite in dormant mines in south-central Arizona. Core drilling and electrical studies confirmed the presence of the metals and minerals.

USAIG’s team of seasoned professionals, licensed geologists, geophysicists and project managers is experienced in moving projects forward…economically and efficiently. We understand the dynamics (read Opportunity) of technology and the need for these minerals in defense, communication, energy and manufacturing.

For three decades projects from USAIG team members  have provided discriminating investors, limited partners and buyers opportunities in commercial real estate, manufacturing and natural resources.
